I am particularly interested in how early relational experiences contribute to shaping how we feel and think about ourselves and others, and the influence this can have on patterns that play out in our lives today. By gaining a better understanding of oneself and one’s experiences, it becomes possible to feel more secure in oneself and to handle challenges in a more constructive way.
I work purposefully to create a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and difficulties in a respectful and safe space. I can help you with various symptoms of anxiety, depression/low mood, low self-esteem, stress, loneliness, worry/catastrophic thoughts and rumination.
My work method is based on elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, metacognitive therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Regardless of what comes up during the conversation, it will be met with an open and exploratory approach.
